Return & Refund Policy

If something isn’t right with your order, we’ll make it right. Here’s how returns, exchanges, and refunds work at Canvas BD.

1. Return Window

You can request a return within 7 days of receiving your order. The window starts from the day the courier marks the order as Delivered. Requests submitted after the window will be reviewed case by case.

2. What Can Be Returned

We accept returns for items that are:

  • Damaged or defective on arrival.
  • Not what you ordered (wrong colour, wrong size, wrong product).
  • Not as described on the product page.

Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and with all included parts.

3. Items We Cannot Accept

  • Used, opened, or partially-consumed art supplies (paints, mediums, glues, sprays).
  • Custom or personalised products.
  • Items returned without their original packaging or accessories.
  • Items damaged by misuse after delivery.

4. How to Request a Return

  1. Open My Orders and find the order in question.
  2. Click Request Return on a delivered order, choose the items, pick a reason and (if applicable) attach photos.
  3. Our team reviews your request — usually within 1–2 business days.
  4. If approved, we’ll arrange a pickup or share return-shipping instructions.

5. Order Cancellations

You can cancel an order from My Orders as long as it hasn’t been shipped yet. Once an order is in Shipped status, please use the return process after delivery instead.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned items, we’ll process the refund as follows:

  • Card / bKash / digital payments — refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — refunded via bKash to a number you provide, within 3–5 business days of approval.
  • Loyalty points earned on the cancelled order are reversed automatically.

The original delivery fee is non-refundable except when the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item).

7. Exchanges

We don’t process direct exchanges. If you’d like a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a fresh order for the replacement.

8. Damaged or Wrong Items

If your order arrived damaged, defective, or with the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery via the Contact page or by replying to your order email. Photos help us resolve these cases faster.
